Trenches founder to speak at INCA Conference

Sharon McDermott – founder and MD of wayleave and telecoms legal specialist Trenches Law – has been invited to speak at INCA’s 10th anniversary conference.

Set to take place at the Mercure Manchester Picadilly Hotel on 16-17 October, the two-day event – entitled ‘#TheRoadAhead’ – will bring together leaders from the digital infrastructure sector, policy makers, investors and tech specialists.

Just 12 months after the publication of the Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review, it’s a ‘must attend’ date for anyone with a keen interest in the UK’s digital infrastructure.

Packed with industry speakers and workshops covering the burning issues at large in this sector – including wireless innovations, investment and network operations – the busy programme schedule is set to go down a storm for attendees.

Sharon will feature on the second day of the event, where she will appear as a member of a panel alongside other tech professionals, from entities including Community Fibre and ITS Technology Group. The discussion is entitled ‘Progress on Barrier Busting’ and is set to cover the issues which operators face when growing their network – including planning, wayleave and street work issues.

Commenting on the invitation to speak, Sharon said: “I’m honoured to have been invited to contribute at this level to one of INCA’s renowned conferences. I’m looking forward to sharing my breadth of experience alongside some real heavyweights in the industry and experiencing the event as a whole, which incorporates forward-thinking issues relating to policy, regulations, investment and technology for the future.”

To register for the event, please visit the INCA website.
