In this latest edition of our Q&A, we’re finding out more about Georgina Rudak, our Head of Wayleave, who shares her future hopes for the company and says that being picked to work at Trenches Law is one of her career highlights….

Summarise your role in one paragraph

In my position, I oversee several different projects and liaise with freeholders, solicitors and managing agents to negotiate wayleaves for our clients. I also regularly attend industry meetings to represent Trenches Law – ensuring that the team remains completely up-to-date with the ever-changing world of wayleave!

What is your favourite part of your position at Trenches?

I love that my working days are so varied – it certainly never gets boring!

Which one word do you think your colleagues would use to describe you?

Driven.

What word do you think best describes Trenches Law?

Bespoke.

What’s been the most satisfying moment of your Trenches Law career so far?

It’s so hard to pick just one, but I would say that being offered the opportunity to work for this fantastic company is easily one of the most satisfying moments of my career.

What do you love about the office?

I love the beautiful countryside setting. I tend to mainly work from home and therefore I really enjoy my trips into the office – to catch up with everyone face-to-face.

If one of your colleagues could win an award (industry or office-related) who would it be and why?

Sarah Gower – because she’s our Land Registry Queen!

What are your hopes for Trenches Law in the coming year?

I hope that Trenches Law continues to expand and that we get the opportunity to support even more operators to build their networks – I’m very excited to be a part of this journey.
